Peterborough County OPP have raided a medical marijuana dispensary in Trent Lakes Township.

On May 1, at approximately 8:30 a.m., members of the OPP community street crime unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant at the Soaring Eagle Medical Dispensary, located on County Road 36 in Trent Lakes.

Officers seized marijuana, shatter, cannabis resin, cannabis edibles, unidentified pills and cash.

Harley Hill, 24, of Curve Lake First Nation, is charged with possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling.

James Harper, 26, of Peterborough, is charged with possessing cannabis for the purpose of selling.

OPP say that the investigation is ongoing and further charges are pending.

The accused were released on a promise to appear and are scheduled to appear in court on May 30.
