Dina Manzo and current husband Dave Cantin celebrated their third wedding anniversary just days before her ex-husband’s arrest for allegedly hiring a Mafioso to beat up Cantin.

The former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, 48, posted a loved-up couple’s photo with Cantin alongside the caption, “He puts his arms around me and I am home… ❤️ 6•28 ❤️ Happy Anniversary my love, forever is a looong time but I look forward to every minute of it with you.” Cantin, 40, also gushed on social media, “Happy Anniversary to the most amazing, beautiful, and incredible woman in the entire world. @Dina I will spend an eternity loving you, caring for you, respecting you, showing you every day that I hold you as high as the stars. I love you, baby!”

Little did they know that just days later, Dina’s ex-husband Tommy Manzo would be arrested for allegedly once hiring a Mafioso to assault Cantin in exchange for a discount wedding reception at the Manzo family’s catering hall in Paterson, N.J.

Tommy — who was married to Dina for about 11 years before they split in 2016 — allegedly recruited a member of the Lucchese crime family to assault Cantin in July 2015, according to an indictment out of US Attorney Craig Carpenito’s office.

On Tuesday, Tommy pleaded not guilty via Zoom to charges of committing a violent crime in aid of racketeering, assault with a dangerous weapon and falsifying records, each of which carries a 20-year maximum sentence and $250,000 fine.

Dina hasn’t publicly commented on the arrest.
